A computer program for generating Weapon Danger Areas (2D) is developed. The program is an add-on module to the cartographic software ArcGIS/ArcView from ESRI. This report documents the algorithms utilized, and demonstrates how to use the program. The program allows the user to plot Weapon Danger Areas on a map. The algorithms are based on the NATO STANAG 2240 and 2401. The program is developed for direct fire and indirect fire weapons in the ground-to-ground role. A flat (2D) terrain is assumed. Optionally, the terrain is taken into account to find the first possible hit point.en_GB
