The Chemical Atomic and Toxic compound Surveillance System (CATSS) was tested during the Force Protection Concept Experiment organised by NOBLE in Kirkenes 22-24 November 2004. In this experiment the CATSS system was tested under cold winter conditions in a realistic force protection setting. The first day, the system was placed near Svanvik with communication via FDN to the Command Centre at Høybuktmoen. The second day the CATSS unit was placed close to the Command Centre. Both set-ups worked well, but some minor problems and ideas for improvements were observed.en_GB
