The report presents the results of a preliminary cooperation between the National Joint Headquarters (FOHK) and the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) on analysis support for the planning and execution of military operations. Lessons learned from the cooperation are presented, and suggestions are made for the future collaboration between FOHK and FFI. FFI personell at FOHK have primarily worked on topics related to Concept Development and Experimentation. If FFI is to support operations planning and execution, there should be at least two analysts at FOHK, located in a cell reporting directly to the Chief of staff. The present solution, with one analyst, is too small to handle the complexities regarding operations planning.en_GB
