N-110 a cast cure PBX containing an inert binder system and HMX has been studied with regard to process ability by use of different ratios between HMX class 2 and class 3. A ratio of 30:70 between HMX class 2 and class 3 was found to give the lowest viscosity and cured samples with satisfactory hardness. With a ratio of 30:70 between class 2 and class 3 and a filler content of 87.2 weight% Intermediate Scale Gap test tubes was filled. The cured material had satisfactory density of 1.64 g/cm3. 10 tubes with different barrier thickness were fired to determine the shock sensitivity. For the 50% probability of a detonation we obtained a limit between go/no go of 35.5+1 kbar. A shock sensitivity result for PBXN-110 in agreement with literature values.en_GB
