Militærteknologiske betraktninger om stabiliseringsfasen i Irak
Abstract
A brief review is given on the stabilisation and reconstruction phase of Operation Iraqi Freedom, with a special focus on
the main challenges in these operations, the weapons used against coalition troops, coalition casualties, and the military
technology response from the United States.
It seems that for the first time, stabilisation operations emerge as a major technology driver. This will most likely lead to
the development of many new systems of high interest to Norway's armed forces in the future.
