dc.description.abstractThe report is an analysis of the environmental effects of the sunken nuclear submarine Komsomolets. It presents the facts about the submarine and its nuclear inventory as these were known in 1995 and discusses the distrubution of these radionuclides in the environment. This discussion is still generally valid today. In conclusion, the Komsomolets represents no significant hazard to man, today or in the future.en_GB
