Analytical methods for thiodiglycol (TDG) in sea water and marine sediment have been developed. The methods are based on solid phase extraction and analysis by use of HPLC-API-ES coupled to a MS in SIM positive ion modus. The detection limit for TDG in sea water was 0,25 µg/ml (50 ng TDG injected) and 20 ng/g (200 ng TDG injected) for wet sediment, based on the condition that [M-H2O+H]+ and [M+H] + should be detected with a S/N > 3. The injection volume was 20 µl.en_GB
