Several types of antennas for an HF (1 MHZ - 30 MHz) radio intelligence station have been simulated. By dividing the frequency band into two, 1 MHz and 3 MHz to 30 MHz, the required specefication for receving signals over 306° azimuth, low cost and use of minimal space was met with an "inverted L" anranna for the lowest frequency band and a pivot mounted log periodic antenna for the highest frequency band.en_GB
